UNITY IN ACTION: RT. HON. EKPESON EMBRACES COLLABORATION WITH IKPOBA-OKHA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA TO DRIVE SHINE AGENDA AND FOSTER SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN EDO STATE
Benin, Edo state – In a bold move to energize and motivate local government chairmen across Edo State, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson, Ag. Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Area and Chairman of Association of Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria, ALGON Edo State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Eric Sino Osawaru, Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.
This strategic visit underscores the commitment of local government leaders to work together towards achieving sustainable development and delivering quality services to the people of Edo State, in line with the visionary SHINE AGENDA of His Excellency, Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo.
The visit was aimed at fostering stronger partnerships, sharing best practices, and aligning development strategies to drive progress at the grassroots level. Rt. Hon. Ekpeson emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among local government councils, stating that it is crucial for achieving the broader vision of the Edo State Government and improving the lives of citizens.
He noted that as leaders, they must put their hands on deck to drive progress in their various Local Government Areas and the state beyond.
According to Rt. Hon. Ekpeson, the courtesy visit was designed to energize and boost the motivation of the chairmen, as they work together to implement the SHINE AGENDA and bring about sustainable development to the state.
He expressed confidence that the collaboration between Etsako East and Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Areas would serve as a model for other councils to emulate, and would ultimately lead to the realization of the state’s development goals.
Hon. Eric Sino Osawaru welcomed the visit, highlighting the strong ties among Edo’s local government leaders. Etsako East Local Government Council Boss reaffirmed Ikpoba-Okha’s pledge to partner with fellow local governments to foster growth and ensure effective governance. The two chairmen pledged to work together to address the challenges facing their local government areas, and to ensure that the people of Edo State benefit from the SHINE AGENDA initiatives.
