Benin City – It was a moment of pride, unity, and renewed hope for grassroots governance in Edo State as the Executive Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council and Chairman of ALGON, Edo State, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson, led his colleagues across the 18 Local Government Areas for a landmark group photograph with _His Excellency, Distinguished Senator_ Monday Okpebholo Executive Governor of Edo State.
The memorable moment came immediately after the successful inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of all 18 democratically elected Local Government Council Chairmen held today in Benin City on 4th September, 2026.
This historic gathering signals the beginning of a new era of collaboration, people-centered leadership, and accelerated development across the 18 Councils of our great state.
Speaking after the event as the ALGON Chairman of Edo State on behalf of his counterparts, *Rt. Hon.
