A SEASON OF GRATITUDE AND RENEWED PURPOSE: RT. HON. SUNNY EKPETIKA EKPESON CONCLUDES TRANSITIONAL TEAM, PAVES WAY FOR A FRESH CHAPTER OF PEOPLE-CENTERED GOVERNANCE IN ETSAKO EAST
Etsako East, Edo State — With hearts full of appreciation and eyes set on the future, the _Executive Chairman-Elect_ of Etsako East Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson, has announced the winding down of all political appointments made during the transitional phase of the council.
This timely step comes as the administration moves gracefully into the next stage, following Rt. Hon. Ekpeson’s election by the good people of Etsako East. Preparations are now in top gear for his formal inauguration as the duly elected Council Chairman.
In a message filled with warmth, the Chairman extended sincere gratitude to every individual who served in political capacities under the council. He celebrated their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to building a stronger All Progressives Congress (APC) strengthening local governance, and driving key initiatives forward during his period of stewardship in an acting capacity.
Rt. Hon. Ekpeson recognized the energy, time, and patriotism each appointee invested in the progress of Etsako East. He noted that their collective efforts helped stabilize the council and lay a solid foundation during a defining moment in our local history.
“To every member of our extended council family, thank you for standing with us. Your loyalty, hard work, and love for Etsako East have made a lasting difference. On behalf of the council and the entire administration, I celebrate you. May the road ahead bring you even greater opportunities and success,” he stated.
The Chairman also emphasized that this transition closes one chapter while opening many new doors. He encouraged former appointees to remain active voices in community development, party growth, and nation-building, assuring them that their experience and leadership will continue to be valued across Edo State and beyond.
As Etsako East prepares to usher in a new era of inclusive leadership, Rt. Hon. Ekpeson reaffirmed his commitment to unity, service, and progress for every ward and community in the local government.
