Etsako East, Edo State – The APC Chairmanship Candidate for Etsako East Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson, exercised his civic right on Saturday, 11th July, 2026, at Atheka Primary School, Ward 3, Iviukwe Community.

The exercise was marked by enthusiasm as Rt. Hon. Ekpeson joined other voters on the queue under the sun, demonstrating patience, humility, and belief in due process.

Speaking shortly after casting his vote, the incoming Substantive Executive Chairman described the electoral process as peaceful and orderly. He praised the people of Iviukwe and Etsako East at large for turning out in large numbers to fulfill their civic responsibility.

Rt. Hon. Ekpeson expressed optimism that the will of the people will prevail at the polls. He encouraged all eligible voters who were yet to cast their ballots across the local government to come out peacefully and make their voices count, noting that every single vote strengthens democracy at the grassroots.

He further appreciated the All Progressives Congress, APC, members, party leaders, and community stakeholders for their unwavering support and dedication throughout the campaign period.

He reassured the people of Etsako East that his administration, when given the mandate, will prioritize inclusive governance, security, infrastructure, and people-centered development that leaves no community behind.

Observers at Ward 3, Iviukwe, described the voting process as calm and well-coordinated. Electoral officials and security agencies were present to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible exercise.

The atmosphere across Etsako East reflects a collective desire for progress, unity, and continued development.
